As of the heavy rain in Klang Valley, many hashers were arriving late and also suspecting many had chicken-out. Not many hashers joint as about 50 runners participated. A group who didn't join us for long time came late as they couldn't find the runsite. We (sweepers) had waited for about 20 min. By the time we entered the jungle, the pack had already at far deep inside the jungle. Quite challenging for us to chase the pack.
Although it was rain and wet, our GM never let go the opportunity to set challenging trail for us. As usual, we had to climb-up till reach peak and climb down till base of valley. On a few trails, he even purposedly skip the man made road and cut into the valley and climb up to opposite side. Of course, some smart hashers managed to spot the short cut via main road. So they were able to skip some of these challenging valley.
As usual, GM tried to new trail. The trail was quite slipperly and difficult to climb. I made some cuts on both hands and made a bruise on right leg as I knocked a branch which hide behind a tree. When the day turned dark, the journey even more difficult to moving forward. At many spot, we had to slide down as no proper trail to climb down. We were all in mud. We laughed at ourselves as we had the most natrual "MASKING" on our face, skin and body. No wonder we look young with fresh skin at this age.
When reaching the runsite, Hai Long Wong and the group had prepared some delicious "Sour Veg Soup" + chickens + rice. WIth the food in front, I couldn't enjoy much. Just somehow the mind was VERY BLUR. Anyway, with some food in stomach had helped the hunger that we had in the jungle.
With such a warm friendship, another good hours spent with SH4. ON! ON!
