SH4, Sungai Long
I was in turn to set this run as the usual setters were taking some ‘breather’ and with CCF and FL – you know what is coming. Long runs and tricky checks! We started at 3:20pm with me Mrs tagging along at first but she turned back just after the 1st km when she couldn’t catch up!
So, the 3 of us had some fun while walking briskly and stirred up some thoughts for the checks and trails; the first check after an uphill walk on tarmac for no less than 15mins in the baking sun and with 2 falsies on the left; OnPaper was laid further down to the right to cut into the rubber estates for another hilly climb to meet the 2nd check that was a forward; we bashed through to some thick bushes and were hacking like mad to ‘burn the trail’; we finally reached the offtracks that have not been used for quite awhile to lay the 3rd check; we made some tracks here and there to throw the runners ‘off balance’ and OnPaper was on the left of the trail stepping downhill to ‘burn another new trail’; ups and downs we ‘burnt’ till we reached a plateau in a valley but was not at the lowest hill points, it was swampy and crossing it we bashed through to another hill; we were bashing here and there to find a way down but was too steep and high, almost that we nearly have it that way but traced back to climb higher and made the run longer; we finally reached the rubber tree hills and made the 4th check with a falsie to go downhill to get back on the trail by the river; it was all familiar trails towards the AhPek’s hut; just before the last hill the hut, the 5th check was laid on the opposite hill, just for fun; home trail on the usual offtracks and tarmac but as when we were about to reach the InTrail, we thought of making it a figure of 8 trail run with the last part on the clearcuts; FROP 1hr45mins with the BWOP before 8pm; me Mrs went in to run at 5pm after turning back and met some members in the mamak stall! She came out just before 7:15.
Running stories: all the checks got the whole pack together even the last ones; every checkings had the runners working very hard, each trail went more than twice; falsies were trapping most runners; everyone had a good run; “Can’t short cut!”.

SH4, Jalan Kacau factory lots
There were 2 runs set – a short and a normal. I heard the short run was laid in a messy way but I also collected some stories of the front short run runners made some messy calls too.
I was late to run in as getting prepared after getting on box before the run and YM went in just when the call was made. I waited for Ah Kam as he was preparing the ice that he brought. We were chatting and walking all the way till the 3rd check where confusions were everywhere. The last hill was steep and long many were caught – star gazing and ground watching! Surprised, I caught up with the middle pack and me Mrs was there attacking the hill! So, I waited and poking fun with the others on trail to the likes of Lok Suk, Chicken Little, Yong Tau Foo and Tong Zhang. Mr Mrs said “no need to wait” and that’s when I bolted. On the down hill home trail, more fun poking when running past RelaXing, SayKiokSeh & wife, LuckyPor and SangKai. On my back chasing after me was MahTaiKor and a few fellas that I did not relent and made them run all the way t get a good sweat. Didn’t actually look at the watch but was in around 1hr20mins. Me Mrs was in 30mins later.
2 hashers were named "Very gnikcuF Smooth" (H L SoonFoong) and "SayKiokSeh" (Iguana)

Food was abundant as the BYO was very effective and have to be 'tah-pow'ed.
the '2-5's that have been 'sleeping on the run'; luckily the last 2-5 caught Advisor 'sleeping on the job'

SH4, Bukit Hatamas
Same old run site that now may be labeled "whore" or "prostituted area". The run papers were abundant from every know hash around Klang Valley. As of this day, the papers that still exist were CH5 and GH5 - recent runs here. Also, many hashers had their own runs here as well.
There are some irresponsible people that may be causing the area to be banned again as rubbishes were found on the run site with broken bottles and food containers. The community's 'Kenny Roberts' were terrorising the joggers by speeding up and down the 'short track'. Something have to be done to keep this place to benefit all!
The trails had a fair share of attention but there are some that litters the trails with some water bottles. They are getting conscious about health but what about mother nature? I see that most hashers are much aware that the place and trails have to be kept clean for future runs except the bathing session that I could not comment more as some do bathe naked and in full view of the public! Treating the place as their own bathroom.....show off!
OK,OK....the day's run was a 'slip and slide' run with 2 long and steep climbs, 2 smaller hilly climb with many torny trails. There must be some amiss - not enough run papers were laid and those laid were either behind a tree, in a tree or in a hole.....Thus I was around, me - the 'good guy' to connect again all the papers and laid more extras when I pass...hehehe.... Many 'stretches' were down right steep and nothing to hold on to, some were sliding down and some tumbled - nothing serious except many were "hooked" by the rattan thorns.
FROP 1hr25mins. Some got 'friendlies', I didn't!

SH4, Km 2.7 Jalan Hulu Langat
Arrived late after some work commitments and also was to be in KLFMH for their 'bluemoon' do in Penchala Link run site. Pointy, pointy fingers were at me and at their wrists to indicate the time I arrived.
Me Mrs, not game enough for this run site. I went in 10mins late and caught up with the whole pack a few minutes later on the fist check. I got stuck and far away while they called On on the opposite side! Follwoing the proper paper trail I was the last and had to over take slowly on the single file paths. Climbing paths are difficult to over take as the 'tree huggers' and 'ground gazers' were many. Finally, at the offtracks, my chance to play catch up with the front. A couple more climbs on some good hills, the middle pack was in the way. The highest climb was good and that got me in the front pack soonest they reached the check at the top. A long checking period had most of the pack together and it was a home trail on the usual trails with a few more hilly climbs. Running down the paths, I managed to catch up with the front runners and was 'tail gating' the front runner back to run site in 1hr55mins. The last to come out at 8:30pm. Nobody turned back or shortcut on this run!
