We had closed to 500 registered participants for our Ball Breaker Run and Fun Run. For the first time, we have so many walk-in participants and we had run out of T-shirt for a number of participants. Thanks for their continuous support.

For Ball Breaker run, there were 196 hashers registered. There were 123 Ball Breaker Finishers. 1st Ball Breaker Finisher completed in 4hr 47min. And the last FINISHER returned safely at 8.02pm at the same time Opening Ceremony had just started. There was no major injury but some cut, bruise and scratch observed from the participants. With the "HO LAN XI" blue finishing T wearing on, all pains turn into achievement, success and PROUD!

For Fun Run, there were about 250 runners participated. They had conquered closed to 8km journey and they were safely returned at 6.00pm. Swept by the pair of our Diamond Sweepers, TongZhan and GouPaoChoon, no worry at all.

WET WILD WET RUN: Run #422 - Vilaraya Industrial Park (CIRCLE)

It was in heavy rain while we were on our way to the run site. Jalan Semenyih was "bumpers to bumpers" as certain sessions of the road were flooded. Small cars were driving very slow and caution as scaring of the water. Along Jalan Kacau, the road was wet.....very wet. LauTan again shared with wiser view..."a sign of clear day soon." The rain stopped as and when we reached the run site... Believe it of not!

Anyway, when we unloading the stuffs, the heavy rain came again. I had some hashers helped to set the canopy. As and when we sheltered under the canopy, the rain stopped.

The crowds have reaching runsite late as of the traffic jam. We had to cancel the "mini circle" and ON ON at 10 min late. Although lesser hashers joined, but it was ~100 hashers participated. Rain started drizzling. Kok Liong (Mr bean), Red Dragin and me have volunteered to be the SWEEPERs.

The entrance route was smooth. All the way up at the left side of the open farm. Noticable of newly planted sapling along the hill slope. The challenge started when we entered into the groves. The crowd somehow widely spreaded on the first hill slope. There were easily 20-30 trails with fresh footprints for the uphill but none of them could be used. All were very smooth, flat, slipperly and bald. Badly damaged by front runners. We had difficulty to find a safe grip to climing up. As part of SWEEPERS role, we had adviced and encouraged some new and young runners to return, not to continue as the trail may not friendly during raining.

It was also a challenge to me. I had fallen and slipped for so many times that I almost wanted to join the returning crowd. When I saw 'YaoDYeah" struggling nearby me, I couldn't help as we were facing the same difficulty. I managed to "conquer" this hill with lot's of cuts and pains.

The following of our journey was consider smooth as we had just overcame the "Challenge of the day". The rest of the trail would be just a piece of cake. Salty Chicken again joined the sweeper team. As a matter for rejoicing, he had managed to climb up the first hill.

We reached the run site before dark. The crowd had already enjoying their dinner from Group 9. This time, we had "Indian Cuisine". As of raining, they even managed to get the shop owner permission to set the food stands inside the shop lot. Quite a diffferent experience and we were all very enjoying with the hot and spicy Indian cuisine. Salty Chicken also bought 5 chicken for SH4 as dessert. We somehow shown the chicken one by one at different time to create the "eating" atmosphere. The salt baked chicken was "pulled and plucked" and gone in flash seconds.

Believe it or not! Rain stopped when we started our CIRCLE. It was a full of funs, laughs and entertainment night. Even it reached 9pm, there was no sign of late from the hashers.

Some hightlights:
* Our "25Chai" or "Spy" were all on ICED as they were either not able to catch a wrong doer or catching the wrong doer themselves instead of letting the "ON BOX" chief to execute his/ her duty.

* Found 2 pairs of kid shoes and father (Road Blur) was on iced.

* 4 "HERO" ,who were so gentlemen to move the canopy to shelter a group of lady hashers. They were on iced as all hashers must be treated with "FAIR" and "EQUAL", no "discrimination" please. In fact, they were "punished" because of our "SPY" had just moved away the canopy and this group moved it back..... "GEY POH CEE"

* First time just realised that "NO HAT or CAP" in hash run. A group of six were on iced...

* Whole "Cheang's family" were all on iced...Ming, DengWoLai, Green Tea, Wah Moi and Wah Zai. Just because Wah Zai was "crossing leg" during the CIRCLE.....ZHU GAO CHUK "诛九族"
* First time, the ice chair were over turned. Ming and DengWoLai were put on iced.
* Mountain goat's family were all on iced too. As mountain goat's brother in-law, brother and sister were all forgotten to CHECK OUT. Both MG and LG had to accompany them and had a "FAMILY ICE".

* FatLot, Mr. Bean and HIPPO were baptised and iced showered by the members for acknowledment and celebarting their new hash name.

* 5 new members joined without any objection.

* Our returning "Ah 8" was again with excellence performance with his Hash Barb role.

* Leaded by FitSo, we had a short charity for "Lovely Disabled Home" by purchasing charity coupons for their "GREEN TREND CARNIVAL" on 18 Dec 10. SH4 managed to collect a pledge of RM1020 (51 books). Thanks you very much, SH4!!

Last but not least, a good night spent with SH4 hashers. Lot's of frinedship, generousity and happy.

ON! ON!
